We also had 1-day access to Ferrari Land, a thrilling addition for all 4 adults in our party. The main draw for us was the full-on waterpark experience at PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, featuring both indoor pools and outdoor pools, a floating river, and a challenging wave pool. The free-fall slides, twisters, and racers kept our older kids entertained, while the junior activities were perfect for the younger ones.

The waterpark offered plenty of activities and entertainment for the little ones and was described as brilliant and excellent.


With ample sunbeds available, we never had to worry about little queuing for the slides, even on busy weekends. Our kids loved the waterpark and enjoyed spending time there every day. We wore flip-flops and sliders to avoid the super hot ground by the water’s edge. Our 6 year old had a ball participating in mini disco and aqua dance activities in the evening, making it great fun for the whole family. The pool was another source of joy, offering great fun for all.

Evenia Zoraida Park Hotel, Costa del Almeria

Our stay at the Evenia Zoraida Park Hotel in Costa Del Almeria was an incredible experience for our family of 4 – 2 adults and 2 children. The Chinese Dragon feature, water umbrella, and bigger racer slide added extra excitement. Our older children enjoyed the various flumes, while the pools were always lovely and clean. The lifeguards were vigilant, ensuring safety across the 3 pools, each offering a very different but equally amazing experience.

The huge pool, wave pool, and brilliant slides were a hit, and the kids loved every moment. Although we had to pay 3.5 Euros for sun loungers, we found patches of grass to lay our towels on. The lifeguards were vigilant, keeping an eye out to ensure safety.

The kids clubs at Magna Marbella scored highly, particularly the Petit and Mini Club with a high staff to child ratio and well thought-out activities.

The lively environment, filled with mascots, superheroes, and fairy tale characters, made drop-offs a breeze, particularly at the baby club, which offered a welcoming and soothing space for our youngest child. Evenings were magical with shows for the kids, and there were plenty of child-friendly activities in the nice area outside of the Mini Club, including a splash pool, zip line, climbing nets, and shaded spots for play.
